NYFST is collecting stories that illuminate the way gender and discrimination-based violence happens in NYC mass transit. Whether you were groped on the subway in Manhattan, called a homophobic slur while riding the bus in Brooklyn, or been made to witness public masturbation in Queens, we want to hear your story. This information will help us raise awareness about why more comprehensive safety measures are needed in our city’s mass transit system that take into account the sexual nature of some forms of harassment and assault.
